TIPPU SULTAN'S SUMMER PALACE










































Bengaluru Tippoo Sultan Palace which dates from about 1790, is the summer retreat for Tippoo Sultan. This palace was commenced by Nawab Haidar Ali Khan in 1781 but completed by his son Tippu Sultan in 1791.

It is a two-storeyed small rose wooden palace with teak pillars which is a replica of the Daria Daulat Bagh in Srirangapattana. It is now maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India.
